Just a story..

There once was a man and a woman who fell in love, I think..
Atleast the woman did. You can make your own opinion if you think the man does or doesn't..

Back to the point.. They got married, and had a child together. You think the story stops there, right? Well.. It doesn't!

Due to his work the man needed to travel around the world to visit different places, leaving his wife and child behind. He often came back to them and brought them gifts and such.. What the woman didn't know was that the man had a lover along on his journey all along. She eventually found out and wanted to get a divorce. But they decided to stay together, for their childs sake.

As the years went by, the little family seemed like was doing good. They had their ups and downs, like a misscarriage, but they always seemed to have eachother to lean on. Some years later again, they added a new child to their little family. All seemed a piece of cake..

That's what they thought..

The man started to have numerous affairs with different ladies. The woman and children didn't know. He even traveled outside the country to be with the ladies, but the children eventually found out. They told him they knew, but he didn't care.

Now, the woman lives on with all their friends knowing that her husband is cheating, even her kids. But nobody wants to tell her. So he lives on his lie, while his family is slowly being destroyed by his actions..

A new year calls for a new room!

Or atleast.. Redecorating my room!

For those who have seen my room, it is small and crowded. I have too many things in there. So, for a long time now I've been considering fixing up the place. I've been wanting to take away my desk and bookshelf, move my bed and mirrorshelf-thingie. Even considered to paint my room and get a bigger bed..

Atleast, I took a little chat with my dad and he suggested that we tore down the wall between my and my sister old room!! In other words, that I would get a bigger room! I really hope so. Would be great with some extra space, and then I would actually have room for a bigger bed..

My dilemma now is what color to paint my room. I'm considering either navy blue or dark red, because I've heard that sleeping in a dark room is better. But blue is a "cold" color, and red is a "warm", so it's hard to choose between a warm or cold room. Besides, I want like a theme in my room. Either red/black, blue/black or blue/white.. It's confusing.. Gaah..

Anyways, I will get a whole new room after new years! How long it will take may depend, but it may be worth it in the end!

Saturdays 1month, Choo, Ice & Awards

Wow.. Saturday was a looong day, but still freaken awesome.

It started at at 2.30 am.. Yes, 2.30 am. I had to get ready for standing in line outside H&M for Jimmy Choo, so I dressed up in all the wool I could find and finished my outfit with my Goose. I was packed, stocked and ready for a loooong freaken night.

After some arguing, both at home and in the car, we picked up Ish and drove fast. Finally downtown we went to H&M Stortorvet first, but it wasn't ANYONE there.. Was kinda shocked, but hey.. Then we walked over to H&M Karl Johan. It was like one person sitting there, and two others came along when we came. So, we sat down there. To my amusement two of my former classmates from KG went by. They were also going to the launch of Jimmy Choo, so we joined them to Stortorvet. We were the first ones to be there, and the clock was like 4.45 am..?

Atleast, the time flew by. We waited and the line grew longer. After 5 hours of waiting, at 9 am, we got the bracelet that would let us in to the restriced area where the bags, accessories and shoes were, and because we were the first ones, we got to choose first. First come, first served ftw!

One hour later the store finally opened. It was chaos.. I swear.. People pushing and using elbows.. Sheesh.. I was about to kick a girl's ass. She didn't only have an ugly jacket, but she pushed me out of her way with her elbows when she ran towards the restriced area.. B*tch.. Anywho, I got my blue heels and bag for mommy, so I'm happy with my find! Ish ended up with a tee and a bag for his mom.. Aww!

When we came out, this random man walked up to us and started to ask us questions about what we had bought and so on. This man turned out to be a photographer named Steven Stieng, and he runs a fashion blog. He asked if we wanted to take some photos for his blog with the things we bought. Ended up saying yes, and a post later on will come about the photoshoot.

Then I worked for 4 hours.. Bla bla bla.. Not interesting.

Later on it was time for Stovner Senter Awards. A party for all the employees at Stovner Senter. Small venue, not many places to sit, but still good fun. Better music than last year atleast! Kink found herself some dudes. Vakten, Chuck Bass, Teknik and of course, Polet. Haha! You go, girl!

So, as you see.. Long day, but a lot of fun!


And a little thanks to my Ish. For standing in line with me at H&M. Best ever! And I was so proud when people said that they were amazed that you stood there.. with me. Can't thank you enough. You're amazing<3

The BF, the BFF and the new deal

Haha! Just another day. A good one, though..

Started of spending the day with Ish. Checking on his mononucleosis, dropping of his stuff at his old job, IKEA to eat dinner-as-breakfast breakfast (I love their meatballs! Cravings!!), then downtown to look for some gifts for an upcoming birthday and then we went home again.

Seems like we were everywhere today, but hey.. Everywhere is fun with the right people, and he is most deff one of them! Especially "in the moment"-things... Like the girl screaming "KIKIIII!!!". Freaken hilarious! It's funny when your face turns red from laughing.

Later on, it was in to the city again to meet Kinky. She was bitten by the cashmooneyshopping-bug and wanted to spend some. And so she did..! She ended up with a lot of stuff, and I was her hanger if she needed someone to hold her bag.

Now I know how you guys feel, but guess what.. DEAL WITH IT! It's a girls nature to shop! Too bad for you if you can't cope with it!

Atleast, we ended up here and there. Sat in a shoestore for about an hour maybe, trying shoes. Oh yes, shoes ftw. Kink ended up with to pairs, and I with none.. Nevertheless, my pair is waiting for me back at the shoestore. I need a second opinion, and a outfit change..

But on the subway.. Oh my.. First of it was this dude arguing with his girlfriend on the phone. It was so drama, and think they were arguing over food..? Am I right, Kink? Whatevs.. Though, on the opposite side of us was a guy listening to music. It was pretty loud. Kink even questioned if he was deaf or something.. Atleast we heard the music quite clear. Suddenly, we hear a Robyn song. Yeah, it's the Swedish chick with the blonde hair. I start to giggle. But freaken.. When we suddenly hear Christina Aguilera - Beautiful, we burst into laughter.. Like seriously.. It was hard to stop.. Kink even said he sang along.. Poor dude.. Either he's a rainbow-softy, or it was his girlfriends iPod..

But but.. Kink suddenly suggested that we should make a deal about celebrating our half years. Of course I agree dto that, considering that I'm turning 19 1/2 years on Desember 7th.. So, I'm pretty excited for what this Whitebear has in store for me! I already have some ideas for 15th of March!

Maybe I'll get half of this on Des 7th?

Andre, my nephew, is almost 2 years old now. And the time has gone by really fast. Still remember when my mom and I went to the hospital to get my sister and him. He was only 5 days at that time, and now... Wow.. Now he is running around screaming words you actually can understand. He can also express himself. Seems like that happens when you're about 2 years old? Atleast, he is a sweetheart. Eventhough he doesn't like me that much, because he's a mommys boy, I still love him dearly.

I know how much he likes to look at himself and takes pictures of himself, so we decided to have a mini "photoshoot" with my webcam in the kitchen! YaaaY! He thought it was hilarious, and was laughing at himself. Really fun! Sweeear.. He's a cutie!

Is the first line in the famous song from the Aladdin movie, A Whole New World. I want to be shown the world. There are so many things I haven't seen, and is yet to be seen.

Lately, I've been thinking about travelling. Not like to the Philippines, and stay there for a month.. That's been done.. But like around the world-ish.. There are so many things in this world worth seeing and experiencing. Kilroy, a travel agency, offers a variety of routes around the world. And of course, the route that seemed most appealing to me was the "Shopaholic". It went to big shopping citys, like Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur, New York and London.. But still.. For me, it still lacked places..

So, if I could "design" my own around the world route, it would have to have these destinations. I know there are many of them, but hey.. Some can you just take later, right? But still, here goes:

- Tokyo
Of course.. I'm a sucker for Japan, and Tokyo is the ultimate place!

- New York
Think it's a destination many people consider as an ultimate place to visit, just because it's NY!

- Kairo
It's Egypt, and pyramides fascinate me.

- Carribean
Maybe you've noticed I like the tropical climate? Well, I do! And I really want to cruise the Carribean some time..

- Honolulu
Hawaii is like.. I have no words. It is among the top 2 destinations I really want to visit.

I maybe wouldn't have chosen this particular route, but they are amongst the places I would like to visit. Still, there are so many more! If I would have written them all down, it would have been too many places..
I hope that during a summervacation, I get to travel the world.. Maybe the summer of 2011? The only thing stopping me is money.. Who wants to join?

Something sweet

I was walking home after buying my food. My mind was wandering and thinking and reminiscing on all sorts of stuff. Started to think about one special thing. How much I love to run my fingers through other peoples hair, in a cuddling way. But then I asked myself..

Why?

Suddenly, a flashback from my childhood appeared in my head. I have always been a mommysgirl. I truly and utterly love her, and one of my best childhood memories was from when I was about 5-6 years old. Lying on my mothers stomach while she ran her fingers through my hair when I was supposed to sleep. At times she even sang, and eventhough she doesn't have the most beautiful voice in the world, it was enough for me.

It made me think that it's something I also want to do to my children, cause it meant so much to me. I miss being a child, with not a care in the world. Not like all the drama that's happened now. I just hope, if I get kids, that they will appriciate the little things I do for them as I have for what my mommy has done for me. Maybe I should practise on my nephew?

Is Love Alive?

For those who don't know.. I'm a sucker for MTV shows. The Hills, The City, My Sweet Sixteen and the list goes on forever.. But for about a week ago, Ish and I were watching TV.. Suddenly, we switched to MTV, and this show was on.. A reality show, of course.. I got so caught up in what was happening. After that day, I found myself hooked..

What show was it? Well, it's none other than Taking the Stage.

I don't know what it is with the show that attracts me so much to it. Maybe it is the fact that it is a school where music is the heart of the school. Personally, I would loved to go to a school as this one. Maybe it is one of the people in the series? I'm a huge fan of people who really has good vocals. And this girl, Mia, has an amazing voice. She even writes her own songs, and there is like that x-factor when you hear her sing.. She has something special. Believe me..

It's because of her, I am addicted, once again, to a song. Winter song, actually. Originally sung and played by Sara Bareilles and Ingrid Michaelson.

The chorus is my topic of ths post. Three simple words.. Is love alive?

I've been thinking about this. And conclude, for myself, that love is always alive. Maybe not the type of love you think about, with your special someone. But love for your family, love for your friends, even love for God. There is always someone in this world that loves you, or atleast cares enough for you to get the feeling of being loved.

HELL yeah..!

I'm just following up the last post. For those who don't know me, I'm actually not a really big fan of norwegian musicians and singers. On the other hand, I was at Øya Festivalen last year to watch N*E*R*D. Since they were the main event, there were other artists preforming on the same stage before they came on. And one of the artists was Thom Hell. Yes, he is norwegian, and yes, I really like his music.

Just because I love her..

Yes, Siiiiir!

Okey.. Decided to make this post about someone. Someone who actually means a lot to me, and someone that I actually go waaaay back with. Way back to kindergarden. Our familys are friends, and our parents have worked together.. So, who is this mystery person? None other than,

Or "Sir"Laurentz, whom some Filippinos pronounce it..

Well.. As I've said, we go waaay back. But it's only now we've gotten so close as we are. Things that feels a little private actually feels natural to tell him. And since he is my kinakapatid, or God-brother, he's like family now.

I actually have many baby photos of him as a youngin', cause our familys were close and we both were around the same age. As I've said a long time.. I'll post the pictures when I get to scan them to the computer.

But, he is a funny one. Always makes you laugh, or he laughs at you..! And he has these standard phrases that he always says. It's kinda funny, but it's also missed when he is gone. Besides, he is a really genuine and good person. Always backing you up, and always a person to talk to, no matter what.

What would you do?

I'm usually a blogger that writes about my day and stuff, but today, this question came to mind..


What would you do if you had unlimited with money?


I would have liked to say that I would end world hunger and all that, but the truth is that it isn't what I would do. Unfortunantley, I'm a very egoistic person. I have the tendese to think about myself, often before others. It isn't a sin, but more an "unwritten rule" that you should think about others. But that just isn't my case.

To be honest, I think I would have spent it.. Really badly too. Think I would have spoiled my family, and friends too, with overpriced gifts and such.. Been that kind of person that thinks that "money isn't a problem" and living the good life. I hope I wouldn't end up like one of those sossy girls I love to hate, like the ones on "My Sweet 16". But maybe the truth is that I want to be one of them? I don't really know..

Atleast, I would have given a little to charity. For causes and organisations I believe in. Like UNICEF and fighting for preserving Pandas. I know, I'm a geek.. But hey! You also have things you care about. These are some of mine!

As a matter of fact, I atleast know within myself what I would have done. But to know that money alone isn't gonna make me happy.. But what I can buy with money can sometimes give me a happy feeling. The most important thing though, is as long as I'm surrounded with people whom love and care for me, it doesn't matter how outlook on life is really.

Think I needed it..

Today was one of the best days in a very long time. I feel I've struggeled a lot, but now, everything is kinda falling into place. And to be honest, it feels great to have a little control on my life back! And this is one of the days in a very long time I'm sitting with a tremendously happy feeling.. It feels freaken good too!

The day started of with school. Evethough out subject was pretty boring, our teacher managed to make our class fun..! We even danced, and I laughed my ass off. It's hilarious! And I've been kinda worried about trying to "fit in" in my class, but now I feel I really dont care much and I'm becoming more myself. Just being more happy. I can even say "hi" to my classmates without being shy.. It's wonderful.

Later on, I went downtown with Ish. He was supposed to buy shoes, again, but they didn't have them. Atleast, we'll be back tomorrow to get them. Everyday with Ish is great in any way, so I'm just thankful that eventhough he's sick, he still managed to go out.. He's the shizz!

Last, I had cotillion practise a RJs place. The really good thing is, that those involved in the cotillion is friends I've known for a looooong time.. And sadnly enough, I've lost contact with many of them. Luckily, I got to talk to many of them today. Especially RJ, Kev, Mads and my cousin, Julian. And it means a lot! Because they do mean a lot to me, and I've just missed their precence in my life.. So, I'm really thankful for the cotillion.

What made the day even better was on my way home. I was walking with my cousin, since we live in the same direction. And we just talked, but still, it meant so much! Because he is the closest thing I can come to a younger brother. He practically is my brother, since we've grown up together. And everything just feels so natural to tell him. It's weird. But we talked about how long since we'd seen eachother, and that we didn't get to talk too much personal and so on... Eventhough, he lives like 10 minutes away, I haven't seen him in like 2-3 months..! Still, this made a great day even better. And for that, I'm thankful!

Decided to just be happy and be positive, and it seems it's already working!

My dad is funny, part 2!

Today was my first day of school after being sick for 4 days. To be honest, I had a bad feeling in my gut in the beginning. But to my amazement, I've understood that I actually have a very sweet and funny class! It just takes a little time getting to know them, considering that we are like 60 students..!

Well, I decided to dedicate this post to my dad. Maybe you saw that I wrote a little about him in my last post. Well, he still makes me laugh. So, that's why I want to write a little about him!


- He is born in the sign of Virgo
- He's lazy as heck, but when he decides to make food it tastes like a piece of heaven!
- He's addicted to The Filippino Channel
- He as a habbit of making a fool of himself, but denying it..
- He actually loves shoes, jackets and polos!
- He's my dadi, and I love him!

Sweeear.. He treated me to food today at Ultra. And they don't know what a small portion is! But what's kinda weird is that I cravded something called "fløtegratinertepoteter", and I got that and two "karbonader" and a lot of salad. So, we ate us full on that one portion. Suddenly Shirley and Kinky came to join us. My dad was listening to music on my sister iPod with my earplugs.. Ugh..

Atleast, When we went home.. He was still listening to music. And we were talking about dancing. Suddenly, he starts to dance! All the way from Stovneer senter and home.. I laughed my ass of.. He is hilarious..! A dimwad, but still my dad and still a person close to my heart!
